glibc 2.32 fully frozen --- please start machine testing (and continue fixing bugs).

Sourceware - libc-alpha mailing list
Community,

Please consider glibc 2.32 fully frozen with respect to ABI and API changes.

Please start testing machines and fixing any bugs where you see them.

I want to spend the next two weeks doing machine testing and bug fixing
before the release.

With rseq reverted we do not have a compatibility problem with the Firefox
and Chrome sandboxes.

I plan to push this shortly:
- en_US: https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2020-July/116053.html

HJ,

I see you have a fix for this:
x32: Incorrect argument types for INLINE_SETXID_SYSCALL

Please ping me if you need review.

Szabolcs,

We have some early test failure reports:
"elf/tst-tls-ie.out":
https://sourceware.org/pipermail/libc-alpha/2020-July/116404.html

Could you please have a look at the new test you added? Is it just the
fact that we reverted rseq?

Carlos.
