don't set use_windows

Tom Tromey
I removed the "use_windows" global from upstream gdb.
Nothing ever checked this global.

This patch adapts Insight to build against trunk.
It should still work fine as nothing in the "src" gdb checks use_windows
either.

Ok?

Tom
