[Bug translator/23507] New: Need a command-line option to disable the automatic (unread) global variable display

            Bug ID: 23507
           Summary: Need a command-line option to disable the automatic
                    (unread) global variable display
           Product: systemtap
           Version: unspecified
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: translator
          Assignee: systemtap at sourceware dot org
          Reporter: agentzh at gmail dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

I think we need a command-line option like `--no-global-var-display` to disable
the automatic value display feature in the C++ function
`add_global_var_display()`.

For automatically generated stap scripts, it can be common to have unread stap
globals and such automatic value logging in a synthesized "end" probe can be
quite noisy and annoying.
