[Bug localedata/4833] New: locale da_DK defines Sunday the first day of the week

glaubitz at physik dot fu-berlin.de
Locale da_DK defines the first day of the week to be Sunday which is wrong.
First day of the week should be Monday. The same goes for the first workday.

This is quite parallel to Bug 3995 for ru_RU. For that bug it is fixed by adding
first_weekday to LC_TIME.

Bug 2388 has a patch which fixes the same issue for several locales but does it
by changing the value for the field "week". That patch seems to be rejected though.

The first_weekday should be 1, meaning Monday.
It is very misleading to have "2" mean Monday.
And then the week should start on monday.

The first_weekday should be 1, meaning Monday.
It is very misleading to have "2" mean Monday.
And then the week should start on monday.

I agree that the "2" is misleading, but is seems to be the way other locales are
defined.

If the same effect can be achieved by e.g. changing the "week" value, then that
will be fine with me too.

Sets LC_TIME/week to 7;19971201;4

An alternative solution.

Then first_weekday is 1?
Then that is the right solution.

Yes, first_weekday is 1 (not set explicitly, so no change there).

Then that is probably what is to be recommended for other locales too,
where Monday is the first day of the week, including the Russian locale.
