Boot Redboot from Flash

hello,
   i am trying to port the redboot image on to a intel network
proccessor,IXP2800.after burning the redboot.bin image into the
flash,i am unable to get redboot to boot.is there any modificaton
required in the source code to get the image to boot from the
PROM,instead of RAM,is any setting requierd to be done to get redboot
boot from the flash.i searched the mailing list archives but was
unable to get the answer.

Lets start with the obvious things first. Is your ROM redboot built
using ROM startup? Have you linked it to run from ROM and not RAM?
